What are some other messages that we could add to public space?

If you're like me, you think there's a little too much advertising in public space. Billboards. Signs on buses, and on cabs. And don't forget about all those logos on our clothes.

In early 2011, I thought it might be nice to spread some poetry around as an alternative. I asked local poet Paul Johns if I could use some of his shorter poems, and he gave me two to play around with. I designed one sign to look like a listing of music events, another to look like it had been drawn on.
