Between February
2009 and December 2010, we spoke to hundreds of people about the
future. A few dozen of these people were nice enough to make predictions
about the future.
Some of these
predictions took the form of elaborate short stories, or intricate
drawings or maps.

Class 4 Hurricane
Igor strikes in 2045. Significant loss of life and property.
Drainage problems
in 2050. Significant loss of water quality. Low lying apartments
and businesses along the Mystic are abandoned or rebuilt. Assembly
Square Mall abandoned.
1 meter rise
in sea level by 2070.
